If you have children and have been subjected to domestic abuse, you may find yourself in family court for children’s court proceedings. Survivor Family Network is a not-for-profit working on changing the landscape in family court, to create safer futures for survivor families, everywhere.
Raising awareness
Most survivors are unaware of the culture and processes in family court when they first enter the system. Raising awareness means we can enhance community understanding of the family court and work towards safer outcomes by getting crucial information to our community.
Research
Contributing to and conducting research about the issues affecting families in court provides useful data and information to improve systems and services. Survivor Family Network is proud to work with academic institutions to further understanding of domestic abuse in the context of family court.
